A steampunk silent_runner built

In the beginning of the year, one silent_runner airship was shipped around the globe and reached its final destination at the Mueller College in Australia. Working around various obstacles, the ingenious students and teachers transformed this rather basic airship concept into the most beautiful flying steampunk airship we´ve seen so far. The depron fins were replaced by elegant curved wings and a shiplike gondula was placed below the envelope featuring fragile air-paddles left and right.

This unique airship will be part of the storyline of a play, but beside that we hope this beautiful contraption will light up the lighter than air passion in one or the other students mind.
